President's Message

Young Israel of Long Beach:  1st Cheshvan 5777/2016-2017

Let me start by wishing fellow congregants a "Chodesh Tov U’Mevorach".

I hope you all enjoyed the High Holiday services with us and found them uplifting and inspiring.  May this new year and new month bring us continued growth and spirituality to our unique community, Young Israel of Long Beach.

For those of you who have yet to renew your memberships, please do so at your earliest convenience.  You may either do so online through the website, but a check is welcome also.  If you need any other method of payment (or have any other enquiries), kindly contact the new bookkeeper & office manager, Mrs. Bechhofer at shulofficeatYILB@gmail.com.

We welcome new members and encourage someone who has not yet become a member to become part of our family.  We aren’t merely a building to house you once a week, but we are a part of your lives, following you, supporting and encouraging you through the life cycle of events, from simchas (such as births, bris, Bar Mitzvah, Marriage & Sheva Brachos) and recognizing your personal achievements and we are with you at the harder times (such as those who are ill and unfortunately pass away), we pray for the sick & elderly and offer compassion and support.  Come join our family!

Looking forward to another great year with you in Long Beach.
